"Doordash is a joke!! Low pay and the long waits for orders. Doordash was pretty good 2 to 3 years ago. Hopefully someone steals the idea and improves on it. It's a total waste of time unless it's a side job waiting for your real job. Complete waste of time and gas money."

"I used to use doordash as supplemental income because I suffer from panic and anxiety disorder making it hard to keep a job in this horrid world we live in. I had in just 2 weeks 7 instances where I couldnt doordash because of false customer claims or the app and customer support being utterly useless. And not sure why but they also kept sending me to restraunts over an hour after there closing times and then I get dinged for not doing it. They have sense deleted my account and I cant dash now."

"the most recent update is making it almost impossible to accept flash offers due to app hang ups, constant hang-ups in between steps, and the new version user interface removes a couple much needed things and makes it harder to get to several menu items needed during a dash. please stop issuing updates until you actually fix the previous issues instead of creating more problems on top of the existing ones! I can't believe a billion dollar app company can't make an app that functions correctly!"

I'm driving 130 to 150 me a day making 70 to 100.00 on a good day. the government allows you 72 cents per mile deduction for operating your own vehicle many times did Dasher offers I receive as supposedly a platinum Dasher oftentimes don't cover operating expenses additionally doordash gives your stacked orders in hopes that you might make mo"

"This app sends constant notifications when I am not using it and doesn’t have an option to disable them. No I do not want to see a bunch of tips from some youtuber I have never heard of before. No, I do not care that some area near me is busy right now. Stop sending me notifications while I am not on a shift."

"This app is garbage and the support is next to useless consistently assigned orders I don’t want due to them being low income and navigating me far from my current zone (pushing me to zones DoorDash clearly needs drivers but drivers don’t want due to customers not tipping at all or tipping so low it costs the driver money) I have had orders dropped and given to other dashers while I had already arrived to pickup the order and then assigned much lower orders (also miles outside of my current zone) can’t use the red card unless you have been a dasher for 2 weeks… but guess what door dash will still assign you orders that require use of the red card and force you to cancel that order which disappoints the customer and wastes your time and money."

"It is a great way to make some extra cash if you know how to go at the best times, but often don’t pay enough for dashes. They’ll pay like $5 for a 30-40 minute dash if you choose pay by dash and if you choose $14/hr guaranteed pay, I often get paid by the dash still, like $2 or $3. If it is a full hour wait the mostly what I’d get is $10-$12. Still so far we’ve made over $490 in 2 weeks. Do a trial and error with your time and location, even put of your town and you’ll find what works best for you. It can very potentially be a full time gig if you are in a good area during the best times. Nothing’s perfect 🤷🏽‍♀️, but God still blesses us with provision. Stay prayed up and keep protection."

"I had an offer this past week that was $10 plus. However, after delivery, it was $6 and change. I thought maybe I had looked at it wrong, or just remembered wrong, but now I have other people telling me the same thing. They get an offer, will say for eight dollars, and when they’re done, it changes to six dollars. Make a mental note of what the offer is, and then when you’re done, make sure it’s the same. It’s bad enough that DoorDash allows customers to pay two dollars for deliveries with no tip, A hell of a lot worse if they allow them to change the delivery price after we’ve picked it up. It’s Armageddon, I tell you!!!"

"Been using DoorDash for a little over a year now. It’s fine if you want some extra cash so you can go do something fun but overall it is not sustainable, especially since you do not really make enough to cover constant gas and the need for more frequent car maintenance from having to use it all the time. Two things that bother me with the app as well is the lowered offer rate when you are not in a hot zone and the end/pause buttons not being easily accessible. Very annoying that I cannot get any offers in my area unless I drive back to a hot zone, which means I’m spending gas and racking up mileage in my car and not being compensated for it through DoorDash’s fare rates because it’s driving I’m doing while not on an active delivery. Ridiculous. Secondly the “end dash” and “pause dash” buttons being on a different menu screen is extremely annoying because in the time it takes for me to try and hit these buttons, DoorDash may send me another offer that I DIDN’T want because either I’m done dashing for the day/night or I need GAS. So then I need to decline the offer that was given to me while I was in the middle of trying to end/pause the dash and it affects my acceptance score. Absolutely infuriating. Even more so because why is the stupid app even asking me to confirm ending my dash? Why do I need to confirm it? If I accidentally end my dash I’ll just start it again. And why is the app allowed to send me offers while I’m in the middle of confirming that I want to end my dash. Very aggrivating. If I want to end or pause my dash, it should be easily accessible on the main dash screen and only require one tap to execute it. Simple."
