"the app glitches when I order curbside pickup. I arrive and the app says I didn't enter a parking spot, even before I do anything. doesn't give me a chance to put in parking spot #. I can't go thru the drive thru because they refuse to take my order in the drive thru on an E-bike. i call the store # and some kid tells me just come to the counter- leave your bike outside - no one will steal it ! so ....if it gets stolen I do not think McDonald's will reimburse me $1500"

I'm not going to let you sick corporate greedy clowns underpay your employees while reaping the profits you make from overcharging for delivered food. you've literally got to be sick to do that"

"I ordered the app was charged then 5 minutes later I arrived I press I arrive and then it takes 11 minutes to make one cheeseburger. 15 minutes from payment to single cheeseburger delivery. the staff apologized for the in-store wait, but the Chick-fil-A app and management will automatically give you free food if they make you wait that long. McDonald's just makes you suffer."

"does not allow me to sign in it to sign in just keeps going over and over and over and doesn't sign in if you're going to put something out there this big with such a huge company horrible. uninstalling and reinstalling the app doesn't help it tells me I'm signed up with a email and it gets me to email them signed up with it doesn't know what it's doing"

"Buggy and frustrating. Forces you to use app for game pieces but it can’t scan them. Seems like this problem is not unique to me. Also, seems like it slows down the drive thru because they do not seem to have a clue on what a mobile order is. If you are going to push and force me to use the app then fix app and drive thrus!"

"I would really like to see McDonald’s add a “well-done” option for French fries in the app. Fries can be very inconsistent depending on the location. Sometimes they are undercooked and still yellow, and other times they are extremely soft and need to be cooked longer. I personally prefer my fries well done so they are fully cooked, hotter, and crispier. The easiest place to add this would be directly underneath the existing salt option, where customers can currently choose “No Salt” or “Regular Salt.” A second customization for doneness could simply offer “Regular” or “Well Done.” Since the app already allows customers to customize their fries, this would be a very simple and useful improvement."

"This app is invasive as far as privacy goes. There’s zero need or reason for McDonald’s to access my camera 3 times per visit. Never have used my camera for this app but McDonald’s uses it. If you care about privacy, make sure the app’s camera access is disabled. Note that permissions change during some updates. Aside from that, it’s buggy and glitches often. You constantly have to check for updates."

"The store on rt 70 in Tom’s river is the absolute worst store I have ever been in they on care about door dash customers. I waited 20 minutes plus and asked for my money back they don’t deserve 1 star"

"There’s no cancellations, even if the store cant make your order, the app still takes your money, and the customer service is a pain to deal with, delivery is thru door dash, so there are two customer services you have to deal with. Your order should be catalogued in the apps data base, it’s not. Your better off going in store"

"McDonald’s app drains battery 24/7, when you don’t have an order. I gave it permission for background and location to allow it to start prepping my meal when I get close, not to track me 24/7 burning battery when I don’t have an order."

"No matter what you try to do you can’t scan the monopoly codes. Using an iPhone 14 with good lighting and a black background. You have to manually type in like 14 characters every time. Pathetic."

"App locks up randomly and has to be closed and restarted. Can reproduce error especially if you try to add funds to Arch Card. App just stops responding. One of those apps that isn’t properly tested before releasing because they probably don’t get time or resources to do it properly."

"Okay so, I put my McDelivery in at 9:43 AM… I got breakfast food, and when I normally order at this time, I get it no problem. THEY struggled to find me a dasher until 11… so when my dasher got there, they claimed there was NO order, and when that dasher left, and another came to pickup my order, they told her, they could only give her my drinks because it was past breakfast and I was to be issued a refund… I ordered an HOUR before it ended, so why am I not able to get my food because on your end you couldn’t find a dasher? I get it, you can’t make the food until the dasher is confirmed, but I feel like there’s something to be worked on so this issue doesn’t happen again. It was very frustrating for me, and the TWO dashers involved with this ONE order. AND! I didn’t get a full points refund for the points I used to get a free breakfast item!"

"I’m experiencing a glitch when I generate a code. The number comes back invalid even though I generated it at the restaurant. I keep losing out on points because of this glitch. I have shut down my phone multiple times and the error continues"

"I find it interesting that every time the monopoly at McDonald’s comes out the sudden stops working. and no matter how many times you try you can’t sign in. I’m pretty sure that’s the prevent people from being able to submit the little monopoly tiles. This is three years in a row that this has happened."
